Isles of Insanity- a Brief history of Scholar Jean Harfleur de Poitiers

In the prep for Isles of Insanity, I got inspired to write some more ancillary lore surrounding the event. It has no impact on the events, but helps flesh things out a bit more. Its written through the lens of an Imperial Historian trying to piece together the works of a once famous scholar from Bretonnia that lived generations previously, and whose works are incomplete or have been destroyed. Having found an account of the Bretonnian scholars heresy trial, a copy of one of the scholars destroyed works that has survived in an Imperial university library, and by finding descendants, he has pieced together a small history of this scholar, and attached it to a transcription of the full text which he has prepped for printing. This is turbo nerd shit I know, but I have to use my history degree somehow, and dammit imma use it to write fake histories based on fake incomplete texts.

I may write more of this as time progresses, but for now it'll just stay as a little lore tidbit.
